What if I tell you that I’ve a 5 month old and I haven’t cleaned poopy diaper in months. The worst part of being a parent is cleaning poopy bums. Either you use cloth or disposables you’ve to clean it. And I know many parents repulse from cloth diapers just because of this single reason that they’ll have to clean the cloth diaper unlike the disposables ones which they chuck directly in the bin. But please clean your baby diapers because potty doesn’t belong in the landfills.

If you follow the practice I’m going to tell you about then there is no need for diaper cleaning at all.ย
I was unaware that it is called Elimination Communication until I had my first baby. I’ve seen my grandma and mom take my cousins in washroom to pee and poop from birth on wards so, it was a norm in my household. Elimination Communication or infant potty training is a practice of learning of your baby cues, timings and pattern and offering potty or area assigned to pee and poop. I’ve done EC with both my kids since birth. TotT was potty trained at 9 months when he started walking and i hope BabyZ will be trained by that time too. .
The advantages of EC are quite obvious :
1. It is hygienic
2. Less laundry
3. No filling of landfills.
4. You save tons of money
5. You develop a better understanding of your baby’s needs.
6.No need to potty train a toddler ( trust me they are more difficult to deal with than infants) .
.
In my further posts I’ll be sharing with you how you can start doing it if you already aren’t doing it.
